{"id":76,"date":"2012-11-29T19:04:31","date_gmt":"2012-11-29T19:04:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.modgraphic.com\/blog\/?p=76"},"modified":"2012-11-29T19:06:18","modified_gmt":"2012-11-29T19:06:18","slug":"logo-design-process","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.modgraphic.com\/blog\/logo-design-process\/","title":{"rendered":"Logo Design Process"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Some of our clients ask us how exactly a logo is designed from start to finish. \u00a0Here is our basic process.<!--more--><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><strong>Information Gathering<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>We like to meet our clients in person for something as important and permanent as a logo. \u00a0Some examples of questions are: \u00a0Do you have preferred colours or fonts? \u00a0What kind of look do you like: traditional, contemporary, etc? \u00a0Who is your target audience? \u00a0Do you have a tagline that will appear in the logo? In the end we are getting to know the client so that we can create logo concepts that match.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><strong>Design<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>Over the course of a 7 business days we design 4 different concepts based on the information we have gathered. This is a very private process and the inner working of this part will forever be hidden! I will say that it involves a kayak, outer body experiences and a partridge in a pear tree.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><strong>Show the Concepts<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>We will meet the client again to show the concepts, and then discuss changes to the chosen concept. Things that can change are colours, layout, fonts and proportions.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><strong>Changes and Sign Off<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>We then go through up to 3 rounds of changes to get the logo perfect.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><strong>Delivery of Final Files<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>Once the logo is signed off by the client, we will then deliver the final files via email, including these versions: \u00a0a web version; a print version; a grayscale version; a black and white version.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><strong>Remember<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>Probably the most important thing you are getting from us is our consultation. So take the opportunity to ask why, how, what we think and what would we suggest.
