Static vs. Dynamic Websites

Many clients will ask us, “What is the difference between a static and dynamic website?” Well think of it like this: Static means you, the client, cannot make changes to your website, while dynamic means you, the client, can (think of it more like a blog where you can upload your own content on a daily basis if you so desire).

Static Websites
A static website is great if you aren’t going to make changes to your website on an ongoing basis or if you don’t plan of blogging regularly. If you make changes about once a year, like a phone number change for example, this is probably the route for you. Why is this better? Well, the upfront is lower. If any changes are needed you would hire your web developer/designer. Click HERE for an example.

Dynamic Websites
If however, your site has constantly changing info, like price changes, new products, etc., or you want to blog regularly, then you’d need a dynamic website. Price-wise you’re looking at at least 75% more upfront. The payoff is that you make the changes yourself, when needed, at no extra cost. Click HERE for an example.
